About The Artist

Liam Whelan is a visual artist living in
Gloucestershire. He started his
career in a drawing office before
studying Architecture in the mid
1990s. For over twenty years he has striven to keep his artistic abilities alive whilst engaging with charitable organisations.

Liam’s drawings are simply
constructed using felt tip pen but
increasingly he is working with digital
media. He is also a keen
photographer. He has exhibited work
at Gloucester Cathedral (2017), at the
Hub Bistro, Gloucester (2018), at The
Pavilion at The Museum in the Park
(2018), Stroud Railway Station (2019), Diglis Island Worcester (July 2022) and The Cavern in Gloucester from July 2018 to October 2022.
